Winter Updates!

Downshift Coffee is open all winter, seven days/week

New coffees! We are roasting several new coffees. We have a medium roast from Papua New Guinea that is rich with fruit and savory notes. A light/medium roast from India has notes of fresh berry, jam, and wine. A dark roast Winter Blend, with coffees from Peru and Ethiopia, is smooth and toasty with underlying fruit.

Baratza Grinders. We have Encore and Sette grinders in stock! (Sette 30 and 270). Encore is a great all purpose grinder. Sette 30 and 270 are great espresso grinders.

Hario brewing equipment. We have a great selection of Hario equipment in stock, including filters, kettles, pour over drippers, coffee glasses, hand grinders, and more.

Downshift Coffee merch: Colorful winter hats, baseball hats, travel mugs, and ceramic coffee mugs all in stock.

Order Coffee Beans

Our location at 39 Main Street in Belfast is open for inside takeout service and limited indoor seating. We have outdoor seating areas in front of the cafe and on a deck behind the cafe, both with water views of the Belfast harbor.

We roast our own coffee beans here in Belfast, which we feature in brewed and iced coffees and espresso drinks. Our coffees are available by the pound at the cafe, or preorder at the link above. We also offer our house-made chai, fresh house-baked treats, teas, and hot chocolate.
